A New Voyage in Sharing Music and Inspiration
Just three days ago now I celebrated my forty-second birthday, right here at home. I had instructed my Sweet Dane to not provide any presents for my birthday, since she had thoroughly made my year at Christmas time with a brand new 88 key keyboard. Dane did not listen to my instruction.
On my birthday she surprised me with an opportunity, one we had talked about, but I never suspected it would become a reality - bought and paid for and ready to experience. Now, thanks to forty-two trips around the sun, we are scheduled to attend two song-writing festivals, both in the great northern state of Montana.
The one I would like to tell you all about now, is the first of the two we will be attending. In June we will head up to Red Lodge Montana to attend The Rocky Mountain Song-Writer’s Festival. If any of you readers have a song of your own you would like to share I would recommend your consideration to attend. Share your soul or stay home, which would you choose!?
If you have more than one song you’d like to let out of it’s cage to be critiqued you are all the more welcome in the competition round. You can submit up to five songs at $20.00 per submission.
Today I am getting ready to select my first two, and if you have the time and desire, I would sure love it if you would listen and pick your own favorite. If you must, “none of the above is a valid choice,” and please don’t pull any punches. No pressure, just excited and looking for some insight!
